Questions
What will you not pack?
Dangerous goods (gas, fuel, paint, chemicals, fireworks and ammunition), perishable food and anything that needs refrigeration, plants, animals, firearms and illegal items. Carry cash, jewellery, valuables, documents and medication with you. The full list is in clause 9 of our terms.
Can I pack some boxes myself?
Yes. Use strong boxes, tape them shut, do not overfill them and label them clearly. We move them as they are and do not check what is inside, so we are not liable for the contents of boxes you pack unless the box shows damage we caused. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law stay.
How far ahead should I book?
Ask for your price as soon as you know your moving date. A quote lasts 7 days, so book when you are ready. Large homes and crating need more packing time, so tell us early.
What do you need for a price?
The address, how much needs packing, any fragile or high value items, the date, and access such as stairs, lifts or parking. The online form asks for all of it.
How are my goods covered?
We are insured worldwide. Transit insurance is offered on request and quoted separately. Ask us for the details of the cover for your move.
