Questions
Do I need my own customs broker?
No. We arrange clearance through licensed customs brokers we work with, and it shows as its own line on your quote.
What do I sign when moving to Australia?
The Unaccompanied Personal Effects Statement (B534). The owner of the goods must sign it. Download the form with our tips for filling it in from our Resources page.
How much duty will I pay?
For business imports it depends on the classification and where the goods come from. For a move it depends on your situation and what you send. Send us the details and we tell you before you commit.
What does biosecurity check?
Anything that can carry pests or disease: soil, plants and seeds, wood, food and animal products. Officers choose which shipments to inspect, so clean outdoor furniture, bikes, tools and shoes before they are packed.
Can you clear a shipment another mover sent?
Yes. We arrange clearance for it on its own.
